... I hate to say it, but I'm really not sure. She did say one thing... I asked her who she was, why this was happening. All she said was, "same as you, though I had prayed it would not come to this." [ she recites it smoothly and clearly, as if she just had this discussion mere hours ago. ]
... if you ask me, I think "something bigger" started before we got here, and we've been swept up in it. If we're caught up in some eventuality she'd been praying wouldn't happen... are we the catalyst, or the result?
I asked her what was coming, too. Her only answer was "The Night."
I don't disagree. I mean more in the sense...if it takes x amount of people in our situation to cause whatever happens, then if they were already at x minus twenty...
[ Like the first victim of a killing spree hoping that at least everyone else in the room might be able to escape it. It's already started, but their being there is a sign that it's going to end a whole lot worse. ]
...well, if all of this is somehow tied to the moon, then that makes sense. Even if it's frustratingly vague. [ Those journal entries some of them have found talking about the "Lunar Anomaly" are going to be important, he's sure. ]
[ But the absolute insistence of the creatures that had swarmed them, and the double whammy of fighting with magic that was just different enough from his own to be awkward, and trying to watch Nobara's back as well as his own... ]
If the bleeding moon isn't at least a part of this "Lunar Anomaly," I'd be very surprised. [ But there's surely plenty to it that they haven't even seen a hint of yet. ]

There's a lot of possible ways to interpret them, and none of them are good. ]

Frustrating is rather understating it, in my opinion. How are we supposed to protect ourselves when all we have are cryptic riddles?
